Can I bring a date?
If you are in a current couple, please know YOUR PARTNERS ARE INVITED! When you RSVP, please put both of your names in so we can have an accurate headcount.
If you are not currently coupled but would like to bring a +1, we will do our best to accommodate this. When you RSVP, please add your +1 information and we will let you know if we aren't able to honour an additional guest.
When is the RSVP deadline?
Wedding Guest RSVP's have closed. Thank you for your responses!
You are welcome to RSVP for the Post-Wedding BBQ Brunch that is being held on Saturday 28th June 2025 from 11:45 am at the Picnic Island Green in South Bank Parklands.
Are kids welcome?
As much as we love your little ones, we will not be including anyone under the age of 18 in the ceremony or reception.
We do recognise that some of you will be travelling with your children and/or want to include them in the celebrations, so please know they are welcome at Saturday's BBQ Brunch!

What will the weather be like?
Queensland winter is pretty mild. Expect tops of 22°C during the day and a low of around 11°C at night.
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Both our wedding ceremony and reception will be hosted indoors.
The ceremony will take place upstairs on the second level of Smoked Garage and the reception will be on the ground level.
What should I wear?
Whatever makes you feel good, we want you to be your most fabulous selves while being comfortable. The "official" dress code is Upstage The Brides. Think: CAMP, QUEER, FUN, SPARKLES, GLITTER & FRINGES.

What kind of shoes should/shouldn't I wear?
Smoked Garage is a heritage listed venue, but there are no trip hazards or dangers that we have seen in the venue.
Please wear whatever shoes makes your outfit pop and ones that you're comfortable in.
(It is unconfirmed but one of the brides may end up in sneakers... ). No rules here, just do you.
Where should I park?
There is no parking available on-site at Smoked Garage. Taxi's and Uber is the recommended mode of transport for this particular occasion.
However, there is paid parking available close by at:
- 4 Mead Lane
- McWhirters, Fortitude Valley Car Park
Alternatively, Smoked Garage is along a bus route with stops 225 and 227 right outside the front door.
Are the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?
Yes, access through the front of the venue has a ramp if needed and there is a lift to assist you up to the top floor where the ceremony will take place.
(There are also lots of comfy sofas and quiet hide away areas available if you need some space and quiet during the reception festivities).
Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?
Yes! We would love for you to be present and enjoy our day, but if you love taking photos and videos, please do so.
When you take photos, please share to our GUESTPIX album. We will have our GUESTPIX QR Codes printed and set up all over the venue so you can see what others are sharing as well as upload your own images.
